China says it is pushing forward with legal reforms to ensure judicial independence.
The Communist Party’s Central Committee has been deliberating the issue in Beijing.
The committee has been looking at ways to overhaul the rule of law, and wipe out administrative interference and corruption, which have disproportionately victimised many regular citizens.
