ISIL advance brings fear to Baghdad

Residents accuse government of not doing enough as suicide bombings spike in Iraqi capital.

ISIL fighters are continuing their offensive in Anbar province and are pushing closer towards Baghdad, stoking fears the government isn’t doing enough to protect the capital and its people.

The government insists it’s ready to face any challenge it faces, despite a sharp rise in suicide bombings and attacks.
