London cyclists dream of high-rise track
Architect says elevated bike lanes would make cycling safer, but may come with a billion-dollar price tag.

Bicycle lanes in the sky may sound like a far-fetched idea.
But one prominent London architect is proposing exactly that – a 22km bike network that is being touted as the solution to the dangers of cycling on the city’s heavily-congested roads.
Cost estimates for the project, however, are in the billions.
