Afghanistan report alleges missing US funds
Much of billions of dollars allocated for construction in Afghanistan by the US since the invasion is not accounted for.

A US watchdog claims waste and corruption is endemic in Afghanistan, and that it is likely to get worse when US forces leave at the end of the year.
A report by the independent assessor Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction was released on Thursday, highlighting a string of problems – including a billion dollars in missing aid.
