US activist and singer Pete Seeger dies at 94

President Barack Obama has paid tribute to US folk singer and political activist Pete Seeger, who has died at the age of 94. He was blacklisted by the US Government in the 1950s because of his political activism.
Obama praised his ability “to stand up for what’s right and speak out against what’s wrong”.
