UK cathedral gets its first girls’ choir
England’s Canterbury Cathedral ditches ancient belief that deemed it inappropriate for ladies to sing in church.

Canterbury Cathedral in south eastern England, the spiritual centre for millions of Anglican Christians all over the world, will see its first all-girls choir make their debut.
Its 900-year history includes such momentous events as England’s split from the Roman Catholic church.
