Nepal takes step towards new constitution
Last attempt failed after political leaders could not agree on identity-based federalism and the form of government.

After a two-month delay, Nepal’s newly elected Constituent Assembly has met to begin drafting a new constitution.
The major political parties have committed to complete it within one year.
