The interim leader of the Central African Republic has appealed for peace between Christians and Muslims.
Alexandre Ferdinand Ngendet has been heading a ruling transitional council since former President Djotodia was forced from office last week. He said he won’t run for the post of transitional president as the country needs a fresh start with new leadership.
A vote to choose who will lead the country to full elections will take place in the next few days.
