The Dakar Rally has entered Bolivia’s high-altitude salt flats for the first time.
Competitors arrived to a rapturous reception from locals and President Evo Morales – but not everyone has welcomed the hundreds of motorbikes tearing through one of the country’s most popular natural habitats.
