US rhino-hunting auction sparks outrage

For the price of $350,000, an American hunting club has auctioned off a permit to kill an African rhino.

The Black rhinoceros is critically endangered, with just over 5,000 remaining in the wild.

As a result, animal-rights activists were livid to hear that a US hunting club had auctioned off a permit to kill one in Namibia.

Al Jazeera’s Brandon Truttling reports from Dallas.
