Shaky US trade deal threatens Lesotho jobs

Pact which allows African countries to export products to the US duty free, may be ended, threatening job losses.

About 50 African leaders are in Washington for a three-day summit to boost trade.

The US Congress is reviewing the Africa Growth and Opportunity Act, which expires next year.

AGOA is a deal which allows several African countries to export specific products to the US duty free.

If not renewed it could result in massive job loses in countries like Lesotho.
