Marijuana sales soar in Colorado

Dispensary owners say they cannot keep up with demand, although the drug remains illegal under US federal law.

Shop owners selling marijuana say they cannot keep up with demand in Colorado, which became the first US state to legalise sales at the start of the year.

But the drug remains illegal under federal law, which is causing problems for Colorado’s newest industry.
