World body warns that crisis in Central African Republic threatens to engulf entire region in chaos.

The UN is warning that the Central African Republic is close to becoming a failed state, and if that happens, chaos threatens to engulf the entire region.

But so far the only international security assistance being promised to the country is in the form of an African Union peacekeeping mission.
