Japan ex-prisoners get fresh start

Japan’s reoffending rates are on the rise.

Many blame a social stigma surrounding ex-prisoners, coupled with a lack of government support.

But as Al Jazeera’s Harry Fawcett reports from Osaka, a group of businessmen are giving convicts a chance to change their lives.
