French store recalls chemical arms’ brutality

Next year it will be 100 years since the start of the World War I, a conflict remembered for the brutality of trench warfare and the use of chemical weapons. Today, France still has a store of those chemical weapons, bombs and shells retrieved from battlefields. But the older the munitions get, the greater the risk of accidental leaks.
