Syria ‘al-Qaeda fighters’ agree to truce

Al-Qaeda affiliated fighters who have been battling Syrian rebels for control of border town have agreed to ceasefire.

Al-Qaeda affiliated fighters, who have been battling the Free Syrian Army for control of the Syrian border town of Azaz, have agreed to an immediate ceasefire.

The fighting had led Turkey to shut one of its crossings with Syria.
