Egypt partially reopens border with Gaza

Students and those seeking medical treatment allowed to leave Palestinian territory amid unrest in nearby Sinai.

Egypt’s military has temporarily opened the Rafah border with the Gaza Strip. It says it will allow students and those seeking medical treatment to leave the Palestinian territory. The crossing has been closed since last week when car bombs killed six people in the Sinai Peninsula.
