Germany’s Greens vow to fight tough in polls

Germany’s Green party has said that it will put up a tough fight against Chancellor Angela Merkel who is leading the polls for upcoming elections.

The party is struggling to compete with Merkel’s environmental pledges even as some business leaders say the Green party’s plan to spend more on new environmental measures will raise taxes and hurt business.
