Russia’s diplomatic manoeuvring in the Syria crisis has won Vladimir Putin praise at home. The Russian president believes that the US has grown reckless – rushing into military adventures and destabilising the Middle East.
Al Jazeera’s Barnaby Phillips went onto the streets of Moscow to hear what ordinary Russians make of the US-Russia talks on Syrian chemical weapons in the Swiss city of Geneva.
