Monkey vaccine offers hope for HIV patients

New research suggests a vaccine for the monkey equivalent of HIV has effectively eradicated the virus in more than half of those infected.
The finding could lead to testing of a similar vaccine in humans. And if it is found to be effective, it would transform the treatment of millions of people with HIV.
