Scientists warn of major Tehran quake

Iran sits on some of the world’s most active seismological fault lines.

There have been more than 10,000 earthquakes in the last year alone.

So far Tehran has escaped the worst, but scientists warn it is just a matter of time before a strong quake hits the capital.
