Indonesia looks to save its rainforests
Community leaders in Aceh say palm oil trees are causing droughts and making the land less fertile.

Half of Indonesia’s rainforest has disappeared in the last 30 years due to logging, mining and palm oil tree plantations.
But a government moratorium on commercial activities, and a return to a more traditional way of living are helping to restore it.
