US frees Mexican Dream 9 activists

Nine arrested for trying to cross back into US without legal papers in protest against immigration laws freed.

Nine Mexican activists, arrested last month for trying to cross back into the US without legal documents in protest against immigration policy after visiting their home country, have been released from detention.

On Wednesday, the self-labelled “Dream 9” were freed from jail and back into the United States.
