US embassy attacks anniversary marked

More than 200 people died and more than 5,000 were injured in al-Qaeda bombings in Kenya and Tanzania 15 years ago.

It has been 15 years since al-Qaeda bomb attacks on US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania killed more than 200 people.

Thousands of people are expected to gather in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam to remember those killed, and the more than 5,000 injured, in the twin explosions.
