Banned group aids Pakistan’s flood victims

As government fails to help flood victims, Lashkar-e-Taiba delivers emergency aid in bid to improve its image.

At least 170 people have been killed in floods in Pakistan, and more than a million are affected.

The government is facing criticism for failing to come to the aid of victims and the crisis has provided an opportunity for banned group Lashkar-e-Taiba to improve its image.

Al Jazeera’s Imtiaz Tyab reports from Multan in Southern Punjab, one of the worst-hit areas.
