Tropical Storm Fernand slammed into eastern Mexico on Monday, triggering torrential downpours.

The rain triggered landslides in the state of Veracruz which left 13 people dead.

Tropical Storm Fernand is the sixth storm of the Atlantic Hurricane Season which is expected to be above average this year.
