Australian school tackles racism

Voting in Australia’s federal election has started in remote parts of the country. 

High on the agenda for voters are issues surrounding immigration and racism.

About one in seven people in the country are targets of racism every year, despite the fact that about 45 percent of Australians were born abroad.

Now, children are being taught lessons in tolerance in the classroom in an attempt to prevent more violence.
