India and Pakistan have continued to exchange fire across their border in the divided region of Kashmir. The ceasefire violations threaten to derail attempts at bringing the two neighbours closer to peace talks.
Fighting near a crucial route has disrupted trade for people in Kashmir, who have been caught in the middle of the conflict.
