US and Iraq try to boost relations
Foreign Minister Zebari meets US officials in Washington in bid to improve ties, two years after US troop withdrawal.

Hoshyar Zebari, Iraq’s foreign minister, is visiting Washington DC for a series of meetings with senior US officials, in a new efort to improve ties between the two countries, two years after the last US troops pulled out from Iraq.
Zebari has already held talks with his US counterpart, John Kerry.
