US and Iraq review ties amid violence
As waves of deadly attacks continue, foreign ministers from both countries are due to meet for the fourth time.

John Kerry, US secretary of state, is due to meet Hoshyar Zebari, Iraq’s foreign minister, in Washington DC. July saw the highest number of deaths in a month since the worst of the sectarian violence in 2008.
The rise in attacks has once again put the spotlight on relations between the US and Iraq.
