Gaza Strip faces water crisis
Eighty percent of population forced to buy drinking water after contamination of only underground aquifer.

The UN says Gaza’s only underground aquifer is increasingly contaminated by salt water and sewage.
Only 10 percent of its water is drinkable, and 80 percent of the population are now being forced to buy drinking water.
