Fracking creates UK fissures

Public opinion divided as country mulls to meet energy needs by shattering rocks, a process called fracking.

The dangers of fossil fuels are top of the energy agenda in Britain.

Geologists say they have found enough gas to meet the nation’s needs, possibly for 25 years.

But to get at it, they need to shatter rock, a process called fracking.

That is dividing public opinion.
