Erdogan retaining support despite protests

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey’s prime minister, has faced unprecedented criticism over government plans to redevelop an Istanbul park.

But despite weeks of demonstrations, and accusations of brutal force by police, many still back the premier.
