Uncertainty in S Sudan after cabinet sacked
President calls for head of ruling party to be put under house arrest as he begins talks to set up new government.

South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir has called for the head of the country’s ruling party to be put under house arrest and banned from travelling.
Kiir sacked his cabinet on Tuesday and has been holding talks to try to set up a new government.
