Hopes for US immigration reform diminish
With House of Representatives refusing to take up bill, deportations continue apace.

Hopes for a new immigration law in the U.S. are dimming with leaders of the Republican controlled House of Representatives refusing to take up the bill adopted by the Senate.
Meanwhile more undocumented immigrants are being threatened with deportation. That’s despite the government saying it’s taking a more lenient approach.
Al Jazeera’s Tom Ackerman reports from Washington DC.
