South Africa is struggling with a dirty dilemma – what to do with half a million tonnes of toxic waste.
A state transport company is awaiting approval from the government to dump asbestos in the country’s Northern Cape province.
But that plan in drawing anger and concern for public health, and residents have started a petition against it.
