All eyes on Portugal president to end crisis

Anibal Cavaco Silva is due to address the nation after talks between the country’s three main political parties broke down.

The coalition government and opposition parties were trying to ensure Portugal’s $102bn bailout programme stayed on track.

Now all eyes are on the president to end the political crisis.
