Difficult Ramadan for Syrian refugees

Thousands of Syrians in Shatila refugee camp in Lebanon face tough conditions during fasting month.

During the month of Ramadan, observant Muslims fast all day, refraining from drinking or eating until sunset.

Big meals are usually prepared at the break of the fast, but for thousands of Syrian refugees who have fled from the war in their country, Ramadan is an especially difficult time.

Al Jazeera’s Rula Amin reports from Beirut.
