Syria hospital buckles under strain of war

Violence forces doctors and nurses to flee, leaving hospital in Deraa overwhelmed by number of casualties.

A lack of supplies and constant violence has put a major strain on medical care in the southern Syrian city of Deraa.

More than ever before, hospital staff are facing the threat of attack, forcing most of the doctors and nurses to leave.

The remaining medical workers are now constantly overwhelmed by the numbers of wounded civilians and rebel fighters flowing in.
