Two men accused of killing a UK soldier are set to stand trial in November.

Michael Adebolajo, 28, and Michael Adebowale, 22, appeared at London’s old bailey court via videolink on Friday, and had their trail date set for November 18.

Drummer Lee Rigby, 25. was hacked to death in broad daylight near Woolwich military barracks on May 22.

The suspects were both shot at the scene by police.

Adebolajo also stands accused of attempted murder of two police officers and possession of a firearm with intent to cause others to believe that violence would be used.

They were both remanded in custody to appear for a plea hearing on September 27.
