Deadly floods strand 20,000 Indians

Uttarakhand state rescue efforts continue as death toll rises to almost 600.

India has launched one of its biggest rescue operations after floods ravaged the country’s north.

Up to 600 people have been confirmed dead and 20,000 other were trapped in Uttarakhand state.
