Art to the rescue of abused S Africa children
Young victims of crime undergo art therapy to overcome pain and fear.

Nearly 50,000 cases of crimes against children were reported in South Africa last year. The crimes included rape, torture trafficking and neglect.
Some abused children are using art as a way to communicate the pain and fear caused by crime.
Al Jazeera’s Haru Mutasa visits a child art therapy centre in Johannesburg, designed to help survivors of child abuse.
