Review of Indian building norms urged
Tighter regulations sought after fatal Mumbai collapse raises fears other houses could be in danger too.

At least eight people died and six were injured after a five-storey building collapsed in the Indian city of Mumbai on Monday. Several people, mostly children and the elderly, are still trapped under the rubble.
Authorities say illegal construction on the ground floor may have weakened the structure, leading to its collapse.
Indian legislators are now proposing tighter regulations in the construction industry to prevent more tragedies.
