An explosion caused by an apparent gas leak brought down a three-storey building in eastern China, killing at least 11 people, state media has said.
The explosion occurred on Tuesday morning in an employee cafeteria of a gas sales company in Suzhou, a city west of Shanghai, according to the Xinhua News Agency.
Nine survivors were being treated in hospitals, while several others were still buried under the rubble, the report said.
It said a preliminary investigation showed the blast was caused by a gas leak.
