Imran Khan discharged from hospital
Pakistani politician return to Lahore home after treatment for back injuries incurred during election campaign fall.

Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan has left hospital after treatment for back injuries suffered in a fall in Lahore.
Khan on Wednesday walked out via a back exit of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital in the eastern city of Lahore, where he was being treated, avoiding reporters, local television reported.
He has been transferred to his Lahore residence.
“He would stay in his Lahore home for three days and then would be shifted to his home in Islamabad,” Khwaja Nazir, a spokesman for the hospital said.
“Doctors have advised him rest, for two more weeks.”
He has vowed to lead protests in Islamabad as soon as his doctors, who have advised him to rest in bed for the next few days, allow him to travel.
The election candidate was fitted with a spinal brace to aid recovery after falling from a fork-lift taking him to a poll campaign podium on May 7.
A general election four days later handed a landslide victory to Nawaz Sharif and his Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
But Khan’s campaign electrified many citizens, pushing his Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) from a marginal party to the country’s third-largest.
Khan has accused the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) of involvement in killing a senior PTI member on Saturday outside her home in the upscale defence area of Karachi, capping a bloody election in which about 150 people were killed nationwide.
MQM leaders condemned the killing by unidentified gunman and demanded a retraction from Khan.
