Studies split on video games’ health benefits
New research says active gaming improves vascular health on kids, but other studies say otherwise.

The video game industry is worth more than $70bn every year, and annually tens of millions of consoles and controllers are sold.
So-called active video games – or exergames – are among the most popular.
But are they good for you or your children’s health?
New research has found high intensity active gaming can increase heart rates, burn energy, and may improve vascular health in children. Other studies of active gaming have been less positive.
