Indian women fight back against sex abuse
Lucknow’s Red Brigade empowers women and girls to speak out and defend themselves against violence.

Long before mass protests forced India to face up to the rise in sexual crimes in the country, a group of young women started a movement to defend themselves from abuse.
The group is now being seen by many in their community as heroic.
Al Jazeera’s Divya Gopalan reports from Lucknow in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
