Jordan weighs Syria buffer zone
Public concern over security and economic resources puts pressure on country overwhelmed with refugee influx.

Many Jordanians feel overwhelmed by the growing number of refugees in their country, whether in camps or in communities.
Some are calling on the government to set up a buffer zone between Syria and Jordan, and keep the refugees there.
However, opponents of such a move suspect a buffer zone is an American idea and could be used to launch an international military intervention.
