Jordan weighs Syria buffer zone

Public concern over security and economic resources puts pressure on country overwhelmed with refugee influx.

Some are calling on the government to set up a buffer zone between Syria and Jordan, and keep the refugees there.

However, opponents of such a move suspect a buffer zone is an American idea and could be used to launch an international military intervention.
