New bird flu strain claims lives in China
Total of nine human infections, including three fatalities, have been confirmed from new H7N9 strain.

A third person has died from a new strain of bird flu in China. The victim was a 38-year-old cook who fell ill while working in the province of Jiangsu and died last week.
Five other cases were found in the region, and two people died from the H7N9 strain in Shanghai during March.
A total of nine human infections have now been confirmed.
