US firms turn to eco-friendly packaging

A New York-based factory drives trend of compostable products with biodegradable packaging.

From disposable spoons produced from corn starch to packing material made out of mushrooms, the industry for biodegradable products is booming.

But even as consumers try to go green, many countries are struggling to cope with this new form of recycling.
